On saturday, my missionaries that I teach at the MTC taught for the second time in the Teaching Resource Center (TRC). My mission companion from the MTC was there to volunteer with the language aspect of things and afterwards he called and said that my missionaries were some of the best that he'd ever seen. I said that that was probably because they're just good people, but he said "No, I think they've probably get the best Teacher in the MTC." To put that comment in proper perspective, you have to realize that he and I didn't get along terribly well in the MTC... in fact, i think that we were quite glad to be rid of each other when we left... but after being apart for a year and then serving for an addition 6 months together as ZLs and now after having attending a couple of classes together, we're good friends. it makes me wonder how many other people i would get along with if I was forced to live with them for 9 straight months. A lot of the English missionaries who got transfered every 3 months or 6 weeks used to say that they felt sorry for us Korean Missionaries (all 4 of us) because there was no hope of us getting away from our companions if we didn't get along. after having been through it, though, it makes me realize that getting along with someone is as much a matter of choice as is falling in love or enjoying work or staying calm during an argument. Anyway, his comment really made me feel like we'd come a long way from the MTC days when we used to bug the heck out of each other.
i saw Indiana Jones on Saturday! I also saw Prince Caspian last Saturday and Iron Man the week before that. I don't think I"ve gone to that many moveis in theatres for over 4 years! It was delightful. Iron Man and Prince Caspian were both pretty darn good and depending on the day, I'd probably tell you that one was better than the other. Indiana Jones was cool... a very Indiana Jones-esq movie, to say the least. I brought my whip and hat to the show and felt very nerdy, but it was worth it to bust out the whip and crack it around a few times. My neck and back are sore
Thought of the day:
if a girl who is prone to tickling is walking by with her hands in her pockets, stay on your guard because women's pants' pockets are notoriously shallow. take it from me: I know.

Really, I think that is one of the best quotes I've ever heard you say. And it makes me happy because today I was talking to one of my friends and he was wearing chick pants (that looked like boy pants, so it was legal) and the pockets were the first thing he complained about! You speak truth, my friend. :)
